Titanic as a youngin'. She is the most famous ship ever known and was considered "the ship of dreams." However any sailor that worked with her knew how she really was and would probably say otherwise..
Treatment of ships back then would be considered if not somewhat brutal today(though they are the world's largest carnivores so...)
Titanic was a sensitive but very intelligent ship. Most of her female kind would have been broken down early in age in the hands of the rough sailors and went humbly with their work.
She however was very belligerent and couldn't be trusted by any of the men, no matter how nice some of them treated her. She had witnessed the dark side of men from the time of her birth. Cullings, branding, docking rudders, etc..whatever it took to make the big creatures easy to handle.
In her upbringing to her first(and only) maiden voyage, she had claimed several lives of her handlers.. they had to tread carefully around her. The smart ones treated her with some respect in that they fully believed that she held grudges and frankly had her own personal "black list" despite being just a "dumb" ship.
Only the best captain and the most expert of handlers would guide her through the sea, but even then she brought them all down with her..(well most lol)
A rank and sly ship of nightmares would be more like it lol.
Though if she could speak, she would probably tell them the same thing that they think of her..
Aurora picked up a lot of her mother's attitude but instead of sticking with the men she went down a better route of going feral.
