*edit* for those who keep asking who "Spirit" is. I am talking about the movie "Spirit the Stallion of the Cimarron"
Ugh honestly people..stop with the spirit comments. Really..please.
I try, well a lot of us try, to achieve our own styles in equine cartoons/art. We don't care to hear all the time that our crap reminds you of Spirit. Hell I look at my stuff and Spirit and it barely looks like Spirit. Have fun matching up the lines. I haven't worked on my styles for the past few years for nothing.
I'll admit right here, when I look at cartoon horses Spirit does pop in my head LMAO he HAUNTS me. But you know? I remind myself that Spirit is not the ONLY cartoon horse out there. Even the horse cartoons older then Spirit get that cliche comment so it's not always because yours came after Spirit arrived on the screen. Personally I try to see what makes their style unique and different from others. Not to constantly try and stick it on Spirit. I understand for most of you that Spirit is your childhood cartoon and probably the first ever inspiration to draw horses. I owe Spirit a lot for re-inspiring me to draw horses.
Please guys refrain yourself from repeating that stone-age comment. It's so..sooooooooooo old. So friggen old. So eight years old. So cliche that I wanna scrape the skin off my arm and rub lemon juice and salt on it. I believe most of us have heard it millions of times. It's like the Black Plague, only with spirit the stallion, all over again.
We don't care. Most if not all of us equine artists have seen Spirit. We don't need a constant reminder of it.
Now don't get me wrong. A lot of us adore Spirit. It's just really really old.
Remember. Spirit is NOT the only horse cartoon, he's NOT the only one of that color and there will probably be many more horsie cartoons in the future. He's NOT the first first cartoon horse to sport eyebrows either! Want proof? well here ya go. altivo(sp?) existed way before him. Oi Vey.
i171.photobucket.com/albums/u2… and look at that face.. considering this is also dreamworks I believe spirit may have gotten some of his makeup from this dude.
Just because it's a cartoon horse with eyebrows doesn't make it spirit.
Anyways enjoy more of my artwork later on! I'm just sitting around drawing till the Army gives me a "yay" or "nay" to join according to my waiver.

Commissions!! Open!!
Life updates on me. It’s been a really low point for me at the moment. Just little motivation. Lost my mom to brain cancer Friday. There isn’t much I can say. But fuck cancer definitely is it. Affinity and beyond.
I’m reaaally in need of money right now. And it’s been years since I’ve done commissions so it’s like oh! Duh! Whore my art skills for the $$$$.
Below are examples! Also peak at my gallery!
As of right now I’m just doing horses. No anthro(not really good at that)
$25 for non-colored intricate bust like the first. Some subtle shading/sketchy goodness. Add $10 for color(also includes some

How to contact It'sprobablymars/Vita Nova Taxiderm
Some of us decided to have a chat with Mars and we shared our thoughts. We have decided for a peaceful route for we no longer wish to continue with the quarrels. So in order to try and help her along I will supply a link to her contact information in a journal she's created.
If you have commissioned her and need updates/questions please contact her here. She will help you out. Thank you everybody.
BIG REDS TO IT'SPROBABLYMARS/VITANOVA TAXIDERMY
*EDIT* NEW DISCOVERY AS OF 5/14/16
SHE HAS RATS OR SOMETHING INFESTING... BECAUSE I JUST REALIZED MY COYOTE'S PAWS WERE ALL NIBBLED OFF WTF.

Okay...this is a journal I really never thought(or really wanted to) create but here it goes.
Oh and I know that she has quite a few minions(or lucky customers as I call them) from what I heard that go after her disgruntled customers that speak out. I am gonna say this. I was not one of those "lil meanies" that tried to set her up or whatever tall tales that are spinned. I was genuinely a loyal customer that had faith in her. She did an okay job on Blim

Kind of like how a lot of big cat cartoons get compared to Lion King, or cartoon canines getting compared to Balto.
